Privacy Policy

VisageHosting.com will never sell, distribute, reveal, or otherwise make available any customer information to any third party company. Few trusted staff members have access to customer information, and these staff members will always abide by our Privacy Policy. If the need arises to contact customers, we will do so by e-mail only.

Money Back Guarantee

If, for any reason, you are unhappy with the services we provide to you at VisageHosting.com during the first 2 weeks (14 days) of service, during this time we operate a no questions asked full money refund. This applies to all of the hosting plans at VisageHosting.com. For this money back guarantee to take effect, you will need to e-mail support@visagehosting.com and notify us that you would like your service terminated. This guarantee will only be valid if we receive your e-mail within the first 14 days of service; after this time the money back guarantee will be deemed void.

New Accounts

We will always try our best to set up all new web hosting accounts purchased on our order page within 24 hours of payment being made, however, due to unforeseen circumstances this process may sometimes take up to 48 hours.

Domain Names

In order for your domain name to point to your VisageHosting.com webspace, you will be required to change the DNS settings located at your registrar's website. The primary and secondary VisageHosting.com DNS servers are ns1.visagehosting.com and ns2.visagehosting.com respectively. You will need to set both of these DNS servers at your registrar. Please note that it can take up to 48 hours for DNS information to propagate through the internet, and for this reason we will issue you with a temporary URL for you to access your webspace.

If you take advantage of one of our free domain specials on yearly plans, please note that the domain will remain property of VisageHosting.com until the 14 day money back guarantee has passed. After this point the domain will be property of the customer. If a customer wishes to have ownership before the 14 day money back guarantee is up, they will need to pay VisageHosting.com full amount for the domain.

If you purchase a domain through VisageHosting.com you also agree to the terms of service located at the Domain Terms of Service.

Domains purchased through VisageHosting.com are entirely non-refundable.

Content

Any written, visual or implied content in the following areas:

 1.   Racism or prejudice due to colour, creed or belief.
 2.   Any violent/malicious/obscene content.
 3.   Hate sites or terrorist related websites.

will not be tolerated and will be grounds for immediate suspension of service and possibly termination of service entirely at the discretion of VisageHosting.com. If any customers are found with any such content, they will be notified immediately of their account suspension and will be required to remove all such content before their account is reinstated. Any repeat offenders will have their accounts terminated indefinitely.

Adult content is allowed, as long as it contains no illegal content such as child pornography.

All customers are responsible for all of the public content on their accounts. Even if other users have access to your account, you will be entirely responsible for their actions and the content they may place on your account. If we receive complaints about offensive or questionable content on a customers account, we will investigate each case individually and deal with it accordingly.

Liabilities

VisageHosting.com makes no endorsement, claims, or promises regarding the services offered by our customers and will not be held liable for any disputes or claims against any said customers. In no event shall VisageHosting.com be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special and exemplary damages, or any damages whatsoever, arising from the use or performance of any customer web site or from any information, services or products provided through any customer web site located on our network. If there is any questionable content on any account on our network, we will not take any action against any material or action until the website is brought to our attention by contacting our abuse department via our customer ticket system.

Payments

For the time being we will only accept payments via PayPal or PayPal Subscriptions. Customers will be reminded of pending payments 7 days before payment is due. In the event a customer fails to meet a payment deadline, they will be charged a fee of $0.50 for each day of late payment up to a maximum of 7 days, at which point their account will be suspended and a fee of $5 on top of the payment due will be required for their account to be reinstated. We will hold suspended accounts for a maximum of 1 month, after which point the suspended account will be deleted.

Bandwidth and Disk Space Limitations

VisageHosting.com will never oversell its resources, and for this reason you are entitled to use all of the monthly bandwidth and disk space allocated to your account. However, if you exceed your allocated monthly bandwidth or disk space your account will be suspended until either a) your monthly bandwidth is reset, or b) your used disk space is reduced to within your allocated limit. If at any time you require more monthly bandwidth or disk space, you can contact our sales department and upgrade your account to a higher package or ask for a custom package to meet your needs.

Cancellations, Refunds and Account Termination

If for any reason you wish to cancel your services with VisageHosting.com, you will be required to notify us of your cancellation at least 3 days before your next payment is due. Failure to notify us 3 days prior to your next payment may result in you being charged for your next term of service.

If you cancel your service with VisageHosting.com but our payments still continue to recur for any reason such as a) by fault of VisageHosting.com staff or b) by fault of any payment collection company, VisageHosting.com will fully refund all payments made after cancellation, and will not be held liable for any overdraft fees that are issued by your financial institution.

Cancelled accounts will be kept for a maximum of 14 days, after which point they will be deleted from our network. We keep cancelled accounts in case you wish to return to VisageHosting.com and want your data restored.

VisageHosting.com reserves the right to cancel services at any time. In this event customers will be entitled to a pro rata refund based upon the remaining period of hosting. This excludes domain registration, which will not be refunded. If a full refund is given then all rights to the registered domain will pass to VisageHosting.com. If a customer contravenes VisageHosting.com's terms of service a refund will not be issued in the event of a cancellation.

VisageHosting.com will not be responsible for any damages your business may suffer. VisageHosting.com makes no warranties of any kind, expressed or implied for services we provide. VisageHosting.com disclaims any warranty or merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. This includes loss of data resulting from delays, non-deliveries, wrong delivery, and any and all service interruptions caused by VisageHosting.com and its employees.
